GISO Career Panel

With more than 100 participants some of which were present remotely, watching our live stream, the panel was warmly welcomed by our student, young professionals, and members of community. GISO’s first career fair was held at May 1st, 2014 at Student Center Ballroom in Georgia Tech. We had recruiters from our local companies and a welcoming participation by students from various schools. This event was open to all Georgia Tech students as well as Iranian students from all schools in GA. The event was supported by Georgia Tech career services and sponsored by Floria Izadi State Farm Agency. Our after-fair surveys indicated a high satisfaction among our recruiter and student participants and we had several success stories of Iranian students being able to get interviews from the participant companies. This event gave GISO experience to plan for a much larger career fair this year.
